During my senior year of high school, a talented classmate named Joel Pugh did a caricature of every student in our class. As I remember his caricature of me, I looked like a hippy and was saying “Free Charles Manson, save the whales! Neither of those causes are mine, but Joel did capture my energy and sense of justice. I’m a dancing fool, passionate about politics (Go Bernie!) love to garden, and can’t carry a tune. Most importantly, for the purpose of this blog, I’m sometimes willing to go along with Mark’s craziest dreams, like going on a trip around the world. Now, it’s my dream too.
