‘Tis the Day!

Today’s the day, people! I am on a bolt bus to Portland right now with the family. We said our farewells to our friends, and neighbors, and to our dog, Shasta. It has been pretty stressful for the past few weeks, but I am good at mind games. I can trick myself into ignoring stress, and I was able to do that until the moment came when I had to leave my life behind, and I had to acknowledge that I wasn’t going to see these people for a year.

I don’t know exactly what awaits me yet, but I have made the descision to see this as a journey. A journey to cultivate mind and personality. I have a thirst for knowledge, and a plan to become great. In order to do this, I think that I must first have knowlege, second to think differently, and third to have awarness and compassion The worst thing is to think that you live in the only place in the world, and to be so ignorant as to be unaware of everything that surrounds your dwelling place. I hope to disprove the xenophobes, and I want to shed light on the beauty in the world and In my travels, I hope to study so that I will have the knowlege to invent, to make an effort, so people will respect me, and to think differently.
